About This Site

Most people love music. They love it because it is this magical tool we have at our disposal that allows us to reach out and communicate with each other on a primal level. It stimulates our memories making us recall the joys and sorrows of ages ago. It sets us into motion by making us dance and sway. Music is pure, total unadulterated communication.

But, some of us go beyond that. We find music sacred and communicate with it on a more spiritual level . Music is not only a means for our expression, it's not only a method for telling our stories, it's our religion. And, wherever there is a CD player or a Tape Deck or an iPod dock, we've got a traveling tabernacle where we can commune with the blessed saints of our religion.

Once upon a time, before the endless playlists offered by the likes of iTunes and Pandora and their ilk, the mix tape was the ultimate means of communication. Imagine conceiving of a theme, assembling the parts and encapsulating it within a package of 60 or 90 minutes. That's what this site is about. It harkens back to the simpler time when we would put these tapes together for one another either as a means to express feelings or merely feature some of the choicest cuts from our favorite musicians.

From this point forward, I'm going to stick to expressing what I have to say musically in 90 minute intervals.
